Untamed New England Adventure Race :: Gear Bins
This race does not allow support crews; instead, racers may opt to have the race organization
stage gear bins for them along the course.
To keep things within reason, we're establishing guidelines for the gear bins as follows:

Only one bin per racer.

The bin must be clearly labeled on top and four sides with your team number (Untamed
New England will furnish you with this number).

The bin must be plastic with a lid; the lid must latch or seal with zip ties (provided by the
racer -- you should place 10 extra zip ties inside the bin to reseal the bin).

Bin volume must be no greater than 24 gallons.

Here are a few examples that meet our gear bin requirements:
In addition to our one bin per racer guideline, we are also allowing one additional bin per team just for
paddling gear. This bin will only be available before/after canoe legs and is a logical place to store paddle shoes, dry tops,
and other paddling specific gear you may have. You may store anything in this bin, but it makes sense to us that it would be
for gear you want on canoe legs.
